About us

We are a group of creative curators and multi-disciplinary artists who are intrigued by the way tactile crafts resonate in the digital world and connect people everywhere, today more than ever. The shortened reaction times to social and technological changes drive us to find new ways to work within a fast-changing world, mediate it, and understand its future effects and the role we play in this process.

In real-time, we decode, disassemble, and reassemble elements, react to them, and document them. Our joint work raises questions about strategies and preservation in creative processes and encourages us to look at the significance and impact of rapid change as a reflection of existing reality.

While dealing with issues relevant to our time, we seek to expand the role and relationship between curators and artists beyond the traditional exhibition format, creating a safe space in which to question the obvious and to enable new experiences and new ways of thinking.

Our collective was established in Tel Aviv in 2021. We are all experienced designers, each in his specialty - active and creative in cultural fields such as exhibitions, performances, and residencies.

  • Doron Naama Gelfer

    CERAMIC ARTIST & PERFORMER

Doron is a multidisciplinary creator who works in a variety of artistic mediums. Her works refer to gender, feminism, human encounters, and the perception of the female body in public and private spaces. In many of them, she uses her body in an attempt to illustrate her values and beliefs. She chooses to work with ceramics as a central medium since it is a sensory material, dedicated and responsive to touch and combines it with other mediums such as performance, video, and installation.

The works that Doron creates convey exciting and personal ideas that break down into an intuitive understanding that sometimes cannot be expressed verbally while incorporating in them universal contents of aesthetics, femininity, and gender.

Doron draws constant inspiration from the environment of South Tel Aviv, where she lives and creates: the diverse population, the old and renewed industrial-urban environment, the dirt, and the beauty - they are all inspiration and creative materials for her. She believes in the power of art to make a change, and in the power of artists to be the agents of change, and seeks to stimulate thought, attention, and renewed concern in the audience regarding social perceptions and topics that are taboo.
